Protagonist
Readers are interested in stories when they connect with their characters. Unfortunately, a lack of diversity in many of “the classics” assigned at school can make this more difficult for students that are part of racial or ethnic minority groups. The goal of Protagonist is to spark teens’ interest in reading by introducing them to diverse, relatable characters through a dating-style app.
